SUPERSTE
Erste Bank: CSR Platform & Program
Superste is a long-term CSR platform developed by Erste Bank to support young individuals and teams working on socially impactful ideas.
The program was designed not as a one-off initiative but as a continuous ecosystem combining funding, mentorship, community voting, and public engagement into a single,
evolving platform.
Creative Direction · Art Direction · Visual Identity · Web Design
I led the development of the visual identity and designed the digital platform, while contributing to the program's overall structure and communication.
Approach
The core challenge was to translate a complex, multi-phase program into a system that is both understandable and engaging.
The platform combines different layers
-
idea submission
-
community voting
-
mentorship programs
-
editorial content
-
and live program cycles
— all operating simultaneously.
Instead of simplifying the structure, the approach focused on making complexity legible.
The visual system was built as a modular framework, capable of supporting different stages of the program: from early idea development to public voting and final selection, while maintaining consistency across all touchpoints.
System Thinking
The identity was designed to function as a system rather than a static brand.
It adapts across:
-
digital platform (submission, voting, content)
-
communication materials
-
events and public presentations
This allowed the program to evolve without losing clarity or recognizability.
Platform Design
The web platform was central to the experience, not just as an information hub, but as a tool for participation.
It enabled:
-
idea submission and project presentation
-
real-time community voting
-
editorial content and updates
-
Ongoing interaction between participants and the program
The design focused on making these interactions intuitive while supporting a large amount of dynamic content.
Outcome
The result is a scalable communication and participation system, one that supports both the operational complexity of the program and the clarity required for user engagement.
Design here functions as infrastructure: not just presenting the program, but enabling it to work.
